It is important to ensure you enter the correct section.

We are very strict about ensuring that people enter the section that is applicable to them.

Imagine, your instructor entering an intermediate division because they're "only going to do intermediate tricks"... we all know full well that they would be able to do those tricks flawlessly, opposed to someone who might still be learning that level and are working hard on their execution and technique.

If you are CAPABLE of higher level skills, please enter that division, whether you're putting those skills in or not.

If you are a trained dancer or performer with many years under your belt but have only just started pole... consider entering intermediate as your performance quality will already be of a high standard.

Section criteria and entries are never going to be infallible but lets work together to make Debut a fair competition for all involved.

Please note all sections are open to all genders.

Groups of 2-5 are welcome to compete in the applicable category of the competition.

Mixed levels, genders, experience, etc.

The group must compete in the section applicable to their most experienced member, for example, if your group contains a performer who would be eligible to compete in debut in beginners, but also performers who would be considered advanced by debut solo standards, the group must compete in the advanced division.

Group competitors must never have placed or won in their current group/duo in any state or national competition (In-Studio comps excluded). Competitors must not be considered as, or have competed in any Amateur, Semi Pro or Pro competitions.

*Remember there is no points for skill level of difficulty, so even the most basic pole work can still win a high level division if the performance quality is excellent.
